An Adaptive Learning-as-a-Service solution to personalize every learner's learning flow
encognize G.K. today announced the launch of ELLA, an EdTech SaaS micro-service providing eLearning and mLearning solution designers with a simple yet powerful Adaptive Learning webAPI that can be called by their application or game to help personalize the learning flow of every learner.
ELLA which stands for E.nhanced L.earning L.evel A.lgorithm analyzes the learners’ scores and delivers level adjustment recommendations for each of the learners. Easy to embed in mobile or desktop learning applications or games, ELLA tells when to make things easier or more challenging for an optimal learning experience.
While removing the burden of conceiving and coding a learner-focused Adaptive Learning engine, designers of eLearning and mLearning solutions keep the full control on how they integrate ELLA's level adjustment recommendations based on their teaching methods and solution design. By leveraging ELLA, they can thus offer sustainable customization (aka hyper-personalization) of the learning flow in their solution, leading to a direct improvement of the learners’ experience, engagement and performance.
The ELLA microSaaS solution full name is ella3v3.ms and it is built around the third-generation of ella3 engine. Based on the results of prior experiments, prototypes and MVP and following additional R&D, this version 3 of the ella3 engine includes critical corrections and enhancements to its prior versions, such as a corrected definition of the performance flow proxy measurement, an accelerated initialization of the learning trends detection algorithm or a higher versatility allowing to better handle diverse learner profiles.
ELLA has been conceived through the collaboration of professionals drawn from diverse sectors such as university professor, teacher, digital service designer, full-stack coder… ELLA was co-created and realized with encognize.lab4-203 Digital Innovation Launchpad services.
