As we bid farewell to 2023, let me first thank here all our business partners who have entrusted us in 2023 for the delivery of their most critical innovation and international expansion-related initiatives.

In fact, we are today proud to share that, since encognize G.K. incorporation at the end of 2017, we have been supporting more than 150 organizations, spreading from startups, scaleups, SMEs and MNCs to universities and governments, in their innovation journey and/or international business growth, through direct representation and programmatic approaches with various acceleration partners.

Aligned with its mission to support entrepreneurs who want to make a positive impact to our society using digital technologies, encognize has been supporting Reconnai in shaping its solution and underlying business concept that focuses on addressing plastic recycling contamination. 

Due to poor sorting processes at the source (meaning from us, consumers) and through the waste chain, it is hard to get clean waste streams where recyclable plastics are segregated from the non-recyclable ones.
As a result, most of our plastic wastes do not get recycled but get burnt or sent to landfill instead...
Data shows that, in Japan, about 73% of the collected waste gets burnt instead of recycled!

Reconnai's mission evolves around developing a platform for consumers, producers and governments that will help address recycling contamination together.
