2022 was for sure rich in learning: we supported more than 20 B2B startups and scale-ups in their growth journey through direct coaching and the delivery of multiple partner innovation and expansion programs.
But we expect 2023 to be even richer...
Together with the entrepreneur and founders we support, with the corporate partners and universities who entrust us with their innovation initiatives, with the students we help and who aspire to solve the most pressing world problems in an innovative way, we are committed to increase the positive impact to the world we live in, more than ever.

* We've been playing around with generative AI Text Prompt to Image (among other things) since 2021. And our big tech takeaway for 2022 was without any doubt the impressive progress in publicly available Generative AI (all forms).

Aligned with its mission to support entrepreneurs who want to make a positive impact to our society using digital technologies, encognize has been supporting Reconnai in shaping its solution and underlying business concept that focuses on addressing plastic recycling contamination.
Due to poor sorting processes at the source (meaning from us, consumers) and through the waste chain, it is hard to get clean waste streams where recyclable plastics are segregated from the non-recyclable ones.
As a result, most of our plastic wastes do not get recycled but get burnt or sent to landfill instead...
Data shows that, in Japan, about 73% of the collected waste gets burnt instead of recycled!
Reconnai's mission evolves around developing a platform for consumers, producers and governments that will help address recycling contamination together.
