Making the Web more accessible. At a time when physical distancing is becoming the new norm and crowded places are regarded as health hazards, industries like Healthcare, Education, Financial Services, Retail industry among many others can only confirm the importance of diversifying their distribution channels from physical to digital.
This digital shift is vital to ensure the continuity of service these organizations deliver to their communities and customers, if not the direct survival of their activities. The good news is that it has never been so easy to create a website or an ecommerce platform to sell services, physical or digital goods online. And most of us are already used to surfing and consuming on the web as we breathe. While the shift to offering services online looks a great way to counter the current situation and prepare the future, organizations should though be mindful of challenges that some of us face in using these channels. Visual issues like cataract, mobility troubles like Parkinson's disease or cognitive disorders like dyslexia to quote a few are as many conditions making it challenging to access web services provided only in a standard design. So, how do we make the web more accessible as part of our social responsibility? How do we ensure a higher level of digital inclusion? These are the two questions that FACIL'iti, an award-winning company with legal entities in France and Japan and a directory of more than 500 corporate customers already using their services, exactly answers. The solution? FACIL'iti solution is a user-friendly, easy-to-deploy, cybersecure, data-privacy compliant and cost-efficient solution making your client-facing website or intranet more accessible to disadvantaged users. At encognize G.K., we are proud to announce our collaboration with FACIL'iti, supporting them in achieving their mission of making the web a more inclusive place for disadvantaged people.
